It's the end of the season for the 2022 soccer year! We want to thank every coach, ref, parents and kids for an amazing season! We had a few hiccups but have also found things we can improve on for next year! The raffle was a great success and we think next year will be even better! So thank you to everyone who helped make it great! We have some great ideas and plans for refs for next year! Some great training by some great experienced referees!

Side note: if you didn't turn in your equipment bag today, (totally fine), please message us so we can either get it from your house or meet to pick it up! Thank you all again for your time and dedication!

The church in New Milford has asked that there be NO PARKING THERE for this weekend (September 10th) and September 24th. They have events going on snd need to utilize the parking for their members! Please be respectful and do not park there these days. If people are parked there when they aren't supposed to, then we will have to pause all games until the vehicles are moved. The church is always good with letting parents park there most days and we appreciate them for that. Thank you!
We understand parking is an issue and we appreciate your patience!

Attention:
Please be aware that a majority of our referees are still learning. They may not get everything perfect, but they are out there doing their best. Please be patient with them. If there is an issue with a call made or not made, please discuss it calmly with them or our head referee. If the issue can not be resolved, please see a board member. We will not tolerate any yelling that is being done at our referees. They are just human and kids at that! If you are asked to please stop yelling at them and you continue, you will be polietly asked to leave the game.
We appreciate your patience and understanding! We are doing our best to make sure our referees do their best!
If there is something you see that needs to be fixed, please come to one of us board members and let us know so we can fix it. 😁

2022 Game Schedules for U6 and U8

PARENTS:
Practices may start as early as July 11th, but schedules are up to the coaches. Your child needs a ball and black shorts. Cleats (NO METAL, No toe cleat) and shin guards are required!
U6 & U8 (children 7 years and younger) SIZE 3 ball.
U10 & U12 SIZE 4 ball
NO JEWELRY unless it's medical alert jewelry (in which case, inform your coaches and they will make sure it is worn accordingly for games.)

We still need a u10 coach for a Montrose team.
Even if you've never coached before, we can help! We rely on volunteers and greatly appreciate any help! There is nothing more rewarding then coaching! You won't regret it. 😁
Please understand that we do have coaches picked out well before the season starts. But we also do not know how many coaches we need until sign ups are completed. Depending on how many kids sign up, depends on how many teams we have and how many coaches we need. And sometimes things happen where a coach is unable to coach after all. If you know anyone who would like to offer to coach, please reach out. Thank you all!

Head Coaches! We are looking forward to the upcoming Blue Ridge Youth Soccer season.
Thank you for donating your time to the kiddos in our community. It is greatly appreciated!
Just a reminder- there will be a coaches meeting on: monday, June 27th @ the New Milford field. We will be at the shed 5:30pm-7:30pm. We ask that at least one coach from each team attends. We will be handing out season rosters and equipment. Any questions feel free to reach out : )

You will start to hear from coaches sometime after the 1st of July.
Please note, some of the coaches may be on vacation or doing other family events. Please give them time to reach out to everyone. Practice days, times, and locations will be dependent on your coach.
We will also be going back to parents helping in concession stand, like previous years.
