Schechter Bergen celebrated Yom Curiosity with a look at “Life Before Google!”

Bergen County’s official town crier, Tim Yuskaitis, kicked off the day by showing students how news traveled before it was just a click away. Think colonial social media! We also welcomed Schechter alum and orthodontist Dr. Henick, who gave 3rd graders a hands-on look at how braces are placed and what it’s like to be an orthodontist.

Curiosity is one of our five Key Character Strengths, and today’s activities were all about asking questions, stepping back in time and discovering new ways of thinking.
