What an extraordinary triumph! The VFW Aux hosted its inaugural Singo Bingo event this Friday, sparking joy and camaraderie among all who attended. We not only had an phenomenal time, but also seized the opportunity to raise awareness about the aux's mission, shining a light on its invaluable contributions. We were honored by the visit of State Aux President Lynn Peet, whose passion and dedication elevated the event to new heights. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported this endeavor - we're thrilled to announce that more exciting events are on the horizon! This weekend was truly unforgettable as we attended the convention to celebrate the induction of new members into our state VFW family, with a special salute to John Kennedy as he takes the helm as the new Commander-in-Chief of the CT VFW. As Commander, I'm thrilled to support John, a champion friend to our Milford post, in his new role and I'm confident he'll lead with distinction. I'd also like to extend a warm congratulations to our very own Lynn Peet on her appointment as State Auxiliary President - her dedication and passion will undoubtedly propel her to great heights. With Lynn at the helm, Post 1672 couldn't be prouder to have produced not just one, but multiple state commanders and now a state Auxiliary president. The strength of our post lies in members like Lynn who go above and beyond, and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to her for being an exemplary leader. As Commander of Post 1672, I pledge to provide Lynn with unwavering support, working tirelessly to empower her to excel as the best president ever.

What an outstanding day! Our VFW Day of Service 2026 was a huge success. In partnership with Post 10201 from Brookfield, we undertook the maintenance of a historic local cemetery.
