McCarthy Observatory A non-profit, all volunteer observatory providing science education to students and adults. We host monthly open "star parties" and school field trips.

We host monthly open "star parties", school field trips, Scout visits, and various events celebrating special celestial wonders. We encourage student research, and are available for special educational programs. On our website you can schedule a private visit. Your tax-deductible donation will help us continue providing educational opportunities for the community. Checks made out to "McCarthy Observatory" can be mailed to McCarthy Observatory, P.O. Box 1144, New Milford, CT 06776. Thank you!
