We had a great turnout on Wednesday and there is plenty more gear ready to be taken! Helmets, bats, cleats (for all sports) and more! Come by today at 3:30-5. Remember to drive all the way to the back corner of the YMCA for the entrance.

DON'T GO BASEBALL/SOFTBALL SHOPPING YET...until you come by the New Milford YMCA Program Center to sift through all our donations! Helmets, mitts, gloves, face guards, cleats, bags and plenty of bats!!!! We will be setting up pick up days after school over the next couple of weeks. First come, first serve. Thank you to all who came by the New Milford YMCA Program Center on Saturday morning to add to our collection. We had 5 families get some gear for their little soccer players too! That’s why we are doing this! If you missed the donation, no worries. Send me a message and we will work out a drop off. Keep an eye out for our next drop off/pick up date. Thank you New Milford!!

Super excited to get this started!! Not much in here yet, but we will have our first drop off/ pick up event on Saturday, September 9th from 10-12 at New Milford YMCA Program Center. Look for us in the back parking lot!!

As I watched my dad clean out the garage and make a pile of used sports equipment, I asked what he was doing with it, he just nodded, "I don’t know" and that's when I saw the opportunity. Instead of throwing all this gear away, you can donate it and other people will be fortunate to use it. By doing this we are promoting environmentally friendly behaviors by minimizing waste and extending the lifespan of sporting goods.
