Today was truly bittersweet as we said goodbye to our incredible 2025 Wetzel County AutumnFest Queens and crowned our new 2026 royalty.
To my wonderful 2025 queens: Thank you for such an amazing year! Each of you represented the Wetzel County AutumnFest Pageant with beauty, kindness, grace, and pride. I have loved watching you grow, make memories, support one another, and represent our pageant throughout the year. You will always hold a very special place in my heart and will forever be part of our AutumnFest family. I am so proud of each and every one of you!
To our newly crowned 2026 queens: Congratulations! I am so excited to begin this journey with you. I look forward to watching you represent Wetzel County AutumnFest, make new friendships, serve your communities, and create memories that will last a lifetime. I know you will wear your crowns and sashes with pride and make us all very proud!
A pageant like this would never be possible without the wonderful people working behind the scenes. A huge and heartfelt thank-you to Jim Herrick, Frannie Herrick, Patricia Wright, Summer Booher, Ruth Fluharty, Lidia Midcap, and everyone else who gave their time and worked so hard to make today a success. Your dedication, long hours, patience, and willingness to help mean more to me than I could ever put into words. Without each of you, we could not have such a wonderful Pageant.
Thank you to our three amazing judgesโAsia Rosenleib, Brad Henry, and Alyssa Hugginsโfor taking time out of your day to be with us. We sincerely appreciate the care and thought you put into every decision. Judging is never an easy job, and we are so grateful that you shared your time and expertise with our contestants.
A very special thank-you to our wonderful emcee, Breanna Herrick, for doing such a fantastic job throughout the evening. You helped keep everything moving smoothly and made the pageant even more special!
Thank you to all of our contestants and their families for joining us. Every young lady who stepped onto that stage should be incredibly proud. It takes courage and confidence to participate, and each contestant brought something special and unique to our pageant.
I would also like to thank our sponsors, volunteers, audience members, visiting royalty, and everyone who supported the pageant in any way. Whether you donated, helped decorate, worked behind the scenes, attended the pageant, encouraged a contestant, or simply shared one of our postsโplease know that your support mattered.
My heart is so full tonight. I am sad to see my 2025 queensโ reign come to an end, but I am also filled with excitement for everything awaiting our new 2026 queens.
