New Market Elementary PTO

We hope everyone has had a great fall break and taken some time to relax before we jump into the second half of the semester! We wanted to take a moment and announce that there will be a change in officers for the remainder of the school year. Our President has stepped down effective 10/4, and per the PTO bylaws the acting Vice President (Rachael Carringer) will assume position of president. Also per the bylaws, the executive board has appointed Hannah Mixon to take on the role of VP for the remainder of the school year. Congratulations, Hannah! And thank you for serving with us! We are excited to continue to do great things for our school and community! Come join us Monday night for our monthly meeting, say hello to Hannah, and help us get prepped for the upcoming holiday festivities!

The weather was less than ideal, but you all showed up. Fall festival was a success, and fun was had! We had volunteers from New Market Elementary , Rush Strong School, Jefferson Middle School, JCHS, Carson-Newman University, and Hoof and Harness Experiential Learning, Inc. help make this possible. Thanks so much to everyone who came out, everyone who donated, everyone who makes this community so special!

**UPDATE** due to the impending weather, we have decided to move everything inside. With this change, we are also going to do $5 wristbands. There’s still lots of fun to be had, so come join us tomorrow morning from 10-1pm!

Weather is looking a little iffy for Saturday, but the festival will go on! Rest assured that we have a plan to move the show inside- rain or shine, we’d love to see you there!

The forecast is bringing cooler temps, but all weather is ice cream weather🍦❤️ Thanks to Cruze Farm East Knoxville for donating to our fall festival silent auction! Come join us for the festival and bid on a basket on 10/3, and swing by Cruze for a Sassy Cow any other time (trust us, you won’t be disappointed!)

Just 2 weeks until our Fall Festival! Big thanks to Unc Style Barbershop for donating to our silent auction! We love getting to partner with local businesses- it’s what makes this such a great community!

Huge thanks to Sevier Air Trampoline and Ninja Warrior Park for donating jump passes to our Fall Festival silent auction! We love the community support, and it’s such a great way to have some device-free family fun! If you haven’t checked them out, you definitely should! And we’ll see you at the festival!

Parent-Teacher Conferences are coming up next week, and New Market PTO will be back again this year with activities, games, and refreshments- make plans to stop by while you wait, come hang with us after, or both!
