Our Story

The New Market Green Team's mission is to promote and teach civic responsibility and nurture a culture of sustainable living practices in order to strengthen our community. Sustainable living is achieved through environmental stewardship economic awareness and social accountability. The Green Team is an appointed committee by the Town Council of New Market and all events are sponsored by the Town of New Market, Maryland.

The Green Team meets every month, the second Monday’s of the month from 6:30PM til 7:30 PM. Anyone is welcome to attend meetings, if you have an agenda item please e-mail the Green Team prior to the meeting at the following e-mail address: [email protected]
