Great morning at our District V meeting! ☀️

Four members from Jefferson County enjoyed time together at the Bush’s Beans facility in Dandridge. It was a beautiful day for great fellowship!

𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪: Bush’s baked beans are made with navy beans 🫘 and the company is still proudly family-owned! They also operate thousands of acres of farmland in the area. 🌱

Better late than never from Young Leaders Conference!

Last month our county had 14 YF&R members representing us! We toured the Country Music Hall of Fame, heard from TVA on disaster preparedness, and learned more about the impact Helene had on our home county and Douglas Lake. 🎶

A few early risers also enjoyed the Saturday morning Fun Run! 🏃‍♂️

Grateful for the opportunity have Jefferson County represented and for our group to bring home ideas, perspective, and encouragement for the future of agriculture. 💪

Our next YF&R opportunity will be District V meeting in April (location TBD). If you’re interested in getting involved and connecting with other young agricultural leaders, shoot us a message. We’d love to have you join us!

Today we celebrate the incredible women who help make agriculture thrive in our Country. From farmers and ranchers to teachers, advocates, and leaders, women play a vital role in shaping the future of our agricultural community. Happy International Women’s Day to the women who work the land, support our farms, and inspire the next generation. 🌱
