This is a group for parents who've lost a child to overdose, and for those who support them. And reach out to us if we can help you further.

Living Through Loss is a community for parents who've lost a child to overdose. We work to create a space to grieve, share, and grow into living after loss. We offer groups, retreats, and workshops, both virtual and in-person. Because we are a non-profit, all of our services are free to participants. Living Through Loss parents spent Sunday evening at Brooke's House- sharing their stories and offering support to the residents. Sam also prepped several rocks for the residents to paint and share. It was a sweet time of encouragement and healing- Thanks to Sam and Debbie for sharing your hearts!

Thirty quilt blocks created by members of Living Through Loss — a grief community honoring children lost to substance use disorder or overdose, and the bonds that endure.

The Continuing Bonds Quilt spotlight block: Daisy Memories of Us for Kevin Carlson. “Kevin knew I liked daisies! He would see daisies and take pictures of them and text them to me. It was his way of letting me know he was thinking of me! It was something he did regularly.” By Michelle Ballantine.
The quilt is currently at Frederick Health Crestwood through the month and will head to City Hall in June!
