It is hard to believe that this is the last week of youth football. On Monday, October 13th we will meet at 5:30pm for equipment return and then celebrate the season with pizza and cookies by the baseball pavilion. *Please wash your uniform jersey and pants before returning them!

New Lothrops 3rd/4th Grade (White Team) Week 5 BIG STICK Award goes to Hudson Bishop. Your effort made a statement, energized your teammates, and demonstrated the toughness we expect every play.

Well done Hudson—this is the standard we want to build on.

The BIG STICK

This recognition goes to a player who delivers the most powerful, impactful and well-executed hit or tackle of the game. It's not just about physicality—it's about proper technique, TIMING, and the willingness to step up. This impactful hit came during a defensive play where Hudson read the play, trusted his instincts, and delivered the hit. That kind of anticipation and physicality is what the Big Stick is all about.
Hudson's on-field performance is matched by his awareness and has continued to develop this season. When Hudson Bishop takes the field, his team and his coaches know they can count on him to play hard, play smart, and give everything he’s got every snap.
Hudson's effort showed exactly how we want to play Hornet football: aggressive, disciplined, and with purpose.

Brad stood out in week 5 for his exceptional effort and impact he made on the defensive side of the ball. He played with high energy, making multiple tackles for loss and consistently disrupting plays in the backfield.

On crucial 3rd and 4th downs, Brad made key stops to shut down drives and swing the momentum our way. His high football IQ and awareness continue to stand out.

Bradley's stops were only outdone by his stops on crucial downs eventually earning him The Big Stick of the game and showed exactly how we want to play Hornet football: aggressive, disciplined, and with purpose.
