We have a few more weeks until season opens. We will be sending out new membership forms in a couple weeks so be on the look out.
We have also wrote up and sent in the new by-laws to the State of Iowa and changes with the board. So that is a great step in the right direction to getting us back to a 501(c)7.
A few reminders for the upcoming season. ALL payments are to be put in an envelope with your name, date and exactly what it is for and put in the post offices boxes on the shed or down at clubhouse. If it's a reservation you need to have the reservation form filled out completely and put in with payment. (Also please check the calender to see if that date is available) you can also call Robin Fisher. All camping fees are due the 1st of the month there will be a 20 late fee applied if after the 10th. Please add that with your payment automatically if your late.
No board member will accept any reservations, cash or checks. So please make sure you have envelopes available to put in the box. If there is cash put in the box with nothing to tell us what it is, it will be accepted as a donation and put towards that. So please make it easier for everyone. We also have new rules that will be sent out with new membership packet end of february. The new bylaws will be available upon request and also posted at the clubhouse. We are super excited for a great 2026 season with everyone.

Water all over the club and electricity to the campers will be turned off this sunday!! 🚱💧no restrooms will be available at the clubhouse after Sunday.

The clubhouse does has electricity all winter so come out and enjoy the fall fishing or even winter ice fishing. Feel free to use the fire pit by the beach to keep warm. 🔥

Grounds can be accessed all year long by members. 🍁🍂

It's been a great season this year and we are excited to see what is all planned for next year. 🩵

The Annual Meeting, held on October 14th, was a resounding success. We are pleased to announce Tom Eagan's unanimous election to the NLCC board, and we welcome him as a valuable addition. His expertise will undoubtedly prove transformative for our organization. We are delighted to build upon the club's achievements and express our sincere gratitude for the unwavering dedication of our members throughout the year. The approval of new bylaws and recognition of our volunteers' selfless efforts were notable highlights. Our camping family has demonstrated remarkable commitment to maintaining our club, and we encourage all members to contribute to this endeavor. This year, numerous projects have significantly enhanced our facilities, including the construction of a new shelter house area, roof replacement on the old outhouse building, and trail clearing. The annual NLCC kids' fishing derby and Halloween Party have been remarkably successful, with overwhelmingly positive feedback from the community. As we approach the conclusion of our camping season, we look forward to embarking on new initiatives, including monthly potlucks, bingo nights, and movie nights. Our objective is to expand our membership to 250 members annually, and we invite interested individuals to join our community by contacting us at [email protected] or visiting our website at www.newlondoncountryclub.yolasite.com. We would be delighted to have you join our club and create lasting memories. Although the camping season is drawing to a close, our grounds remain open for winter activities, including ice fishing.
