Last week, we asked a simple question:

Who owns your neighborhood?

The answers weren’t simple.

People spoke about landlords, developers, local government, displacement, affordability, and what real control over our communities looks like.

Most importantly, people imagined something more: neighborhoods where residents have a real voice in what happens to the land and housing around them.
