KNP HAS NEW BOARD MEMBERS!
Our new KNP board members are getting acclimated this summer and fall: Lianne Roux, Jennifer White, Martin Sheerin and Laura Russell. They add tremendous dimension and breadth to the board with their wide variety of backgrounds and expertise. Last month we introduced you to Lianne and Laura. This month, please meet Jenny and Martin!
JENNY WHITE grew up in New London and now lives in Andover. She studied philosophy and physics, somatic psychology, permaculture, and whole systems education - all with an eye towards having a positive impact on peoples' lives and in the world. She recently served as the Director of Sustainability & Innovation at Colby-Sawyer College, employing strategies at the intersection of personal wellbeing, social justice, economic stability, and ecological balance. She is both a professional musician and voice recording artist, and says, “It’s been a gift to join such a fun, kindhearted group of people who have dedicated themselves to building a community where neighbors help each other flourish.”
MARTIN SHEERIN comes to us by way of his native Dublin, Ireland. After studying mathematics at Trinity College, he joined the ranks of Irelands Life Assurance company and eventually transferred to the United States, living all over the eastern half of the country. Eventually retiring in Boston from John Hancock, he now lives on Little Lake Sunapee. Martin reports he is happy to join the Board because KNP helps many people in our area by providing services that otherwise would not be available. He has enjoyed volunteering over the previous few years and felt this new role would give him an opportunity to be more involved and have a bigger impact.
