We work to promote global food justice, while building our collective vision here in New London. A part of that vision - Edible New London, a City full of food grown with, for and by us - all with a focus on crops that celebrate our cultures. We run an urban farm on Cottage Street, community gardens throughout New London and snack beds along busy streets - these are gardens everyone can harvest f
rom. Young people become a part of the solution, by working in the spring and summer to grow food, get it into the hands of New London families and help us analyze the impacts of the industrial food on our community. FRESH works in solidarity with the health equity, economic justice and racial equity movements in New London and beyond. We help folx create the conditions to grow their own food; we partner with other grassroots organizations and we promote projects and programs that make it possible for everyone to access the food they want - with dignity. We make art, we honor the earth and we share food with each other.
