Reminder: he has also been saying he's been having discussions with Iran and that they are "begging" for an end to the war, despite Iran's denials. Trump appears to be making up or imagining these conversations, and the consequences are already deadly.

A man is going viral after an eagle swooped in while he tried to remove a U.S. flag from a pole.

After several days of rioting in the area, the following morning two pranksters returned to take the flag down. One of the men was nearly at the top when the mood changed in seconds.

An eagle suddenly dropped out of the sky, screaming and circling low. It struck at the air close enough that the climber froze and started backing down fast, while his partner waved and shouted from below. They got down safely, shaken but unhurt.

Later, his friend told people he couldn’t believe what he saw. “It looked like the eagle was defending the flag,” he said.
