🍁 Transition Tuesday: Gather Your Resources
Fall is a great time to gather what you need for the season ahead. Transition planning works the same way!
A young person doesn't have to navigate their future alone. Think about the people and resources that can help you reach your goals.
🍁 Your voice belongs in the conversation. Youth Engagement Now offers resources created by and with young adults with disabilities to help young people build leadership skills, share their voice, and take an active role in planning for their future.

Congrats to this amazing group of youth leaders CT Youth Leadership Project

Big Dreams. Bold Voices. Brighter Futures.

At the Connecticut Youth Leadership Project (CTYLP), we believe every young person has the potential to lead, inspire, and make a difference!

Through our Youth Leadership Forum, young people with disabilities come together to build confidence, discover their strengths, develop self-advocacy skills, and create a vision for their future.

Leadership isn't about having all the answers. It's about finding your voice, recognizing your abilities, supporting one another, and believing in what's possible.

We're proud to help empower the next generation of leaders—one voice, one dream, and one opportunity at a time!

Every voice matters. Every dream counts. Every leader has a beginning.

🌟 From Youth Leader to Disability Advocate! 🌟

If you were at yesterday’s Shaping the Future of Disability Rights: 2026 Nonpartisan Candidates’ Forum, we hope you had a chance to connect with our Youth Educator, Emily!

Emily’s journey with the YAB has come full circle. Once a youth member of the YAB, she now serves as the YAB’s Youth Educator and adult ally, continuing her work in the field of disability and advocacy.

Thank you, Emily, for all that you do! We are so proud to see your continued leadership and advocacy! 💙🙌
