This summer, our Kids and Adults Reading Programs are going head‑to‑head in a battle of the books. Every minute you read and log in Reader Zone pushes your team closer to victory.

And here’s the best part: we’ll be streaming a live reading‑minutes leaderboard right on our website, so you can check in anytime to see who’s winning.

Will the kids out‑read the grown‑ups, or will the adults prove they’ve still got the stamina?
Only one way to find out. Grab a book, join your team, and let the reading race begin.

From Monday, June 8, to Thursday, June 11, NLPD, along with other Juneau County law enforcement agencies, will conduct Critical Incident Response training in and around the New Lisbon School.

Expect high police presence and simulated emergency noises in the area during this time.

This is only a training. Please don’t be alarmed.

Today at the New Lisbon Memorial Library, Marvelous Michelle turned an ordinary day into a full‑blown bubble extravaganza. The kids didn’t just make bubbles…they engineered them, chased them, popped them, and discovered every wild and wonderful way you can create them with different tools. It was pure, giggly chaos in the best possible way.

The sun was shining, the bubbles were floating, and the excitement was contagious. We had a huge turnout, and tons of kids signed up for our summer reading program. It felt like the perfect kickoff to a season of stories, sunshine, and seriously happy kiddos. Thank you for supporting your library!
