Ludowici was happy to sponsor “ The People’s Choice Award” in memory of Tom Johnson. This year there was a “tie” for this award : Marie Seurkamp and Kiersten Ferguson took the honor. Congratulations to these ladies and to all the other budding artists who participated.

Today our staff participated in a corporate biodiversity initiative in celebration of Earth Day. Our team cleared out overgrown bushes in our office garden planter and planted a variety of regionally native and pollinator-friendly flowers in their place. It was a group effort to get the work done, and a lot of folks in the office are excited to see how the flowers grow as summer goes on.

We celebrated and reflected on almost 86 years of experience retiring from our hand-molding department this morning - Ralph Donaldson( 39 years ) and Mike Spencer (46 years) clocked in and out for the last time this morning- Congratulations! Enjoy your much earned retirement fellows!

Our staff sported “ Ugly Sweaters” - cut their own terra cotta ornaments and enjoyed lunch from one of our reps (Thanks John Carey) . Only a few more days until Santa arrives ….
