Here you will find the intimacy of a true chamber music environment without long lines or crowded parking lots. The outstanding musicians who hav

e appeared in recent seasons at the Tannery include Emanuel Ax, the Tokyo String Quartet, Jeremy Denk, and the Brentano Quartet, among many other of today's leading musicians. Tannery Pond Concert's artistic director, Christian Steiner, is a concert pianist and professional photographer of some of the most notable musicians of our time. Tannery Pond Concerts is proud to be the recipient of a multi-year grant from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature. I’m very excited for these just-announced concerts next season! I’ll be returning to the legendary The Cleveland Orchestra on their subscription series to play Benjamin Britten’s searing violin concerto under the baton of Thomas Søndergård in gorgeous Severance Hall. I adore this concerto and it is such a thrill to collaborate with these great musicians to bring it to Cleveland audiences.
