The New Kent County Department of Social Services is notifying residents that, because of the federal government shutdown that began October 1, 2025, SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits for November may be delayed or not issued.

We are so close to our goal! We have raised $3,800 so far and would love to match last year's total of $4,500. We have 5 days left to go! If you feel so called, please help us reach our goal. We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our community near and far!

Dollars for Diapers: St. Peter’s Diaper Assistance Program's fall fundraiser is underway! We currently assist 34 children who need sponsors. You can sponsor a child for 1 month of diapers for $30, 3 months of diapers for $90, 5 months of diapers for $150, or you may choose your own amount to give! We will continue until all children sponsored. Please make checks payable to St. Peter’s with DAP in the Memo Line or you can donate online using this link (make sure Diaper Assistance Program) is the selected fund:

Reach out to Promise Land Storehouse if you or anyone you know could use this pediatric formula! They received a large donation and want to see it put to good use

It's Giving Tuesday! The Diaper Assistance Program is an expensive operation to run- we spend about $1,000 per month on diapers. If you would like to give you can use this link, making sure 'Diaper Assistance Program' is the selected fund. St. Peter's is hosting their annual Give a Child a Christmas event. We have been able to get sponsorships for 104 of our children. We have 5 that have not yet been sponsored. Can you find it in your heart to sponsor a child this Christmas? We have a wishlist available that provides sizes and items they would like or need. We currently have 3 boys ages 10/12/14 and 2 girls ages 14/17. If you are interested in sponsoring any of these children, please message us here.
