Dragonfly says we need some help again!! 🫣

If anyone is able to send us ANY adult canned food

(any brand and multiple textures are also amazing pate, mousse, shredded, minced....you get the idea 😜)
We would greatly appreciate it!!!! We could also really use some Churu which we use to administer meds and as bribery(we are not above bribery and begging)

Those are our 2 top needs at the moment but we truly appreciate any help! Paper towels, tall kitchen garbage bags go crazy fast as does paper pellet litter (you guys really hooked us up last time so at the moment we are still ok 🥰 on it but we took in more cats last week and this week...even today while we were not technically open we took in a cat. Gift cards are also appreciated as well as laundry soap, hand soap,Scott 🧻 TP...we use up stuff crazy fast around here.
That's this sweet girl! Her name is Dragonfly and she has 3 legs, is super emaciated and has a wicked eye infection/injury. We saw how badly she needed help and were able to coordinate a time to meet up. A community partner was in contact with the kind soul who found her and we all made it happen! It truly is a team effort!

Unfortunately our handy dandy trusty dinosaur 🦖 X-Ray machine also officially died this week 😭.
Dr. B scoured the U.S. for the best deal she could find...so she's currently heading back from South Carolina right now! Please wish her safe travels! It's always something 🥺😣...but as they say...chin up!

Together we can/do make a difference 🫶

We are as always forever grateful to be able to say "YES" to cats like Dragonfly with the help and support of you all!
Dragonfly now has hope and a fighting chance!

Thank you for your unwavering commitment, support and faith in us!

We are still looking for a heart of gold 💛!

Link has not had ANY interest in him yet soooo can't stop, won't stop 😉.... till we get a home.

Seriously just loooooook at his face and his purrsistence to get loved on 🥺 (this pic was taken today) He's honestly kind of more like a dog than a cat?
Link truly melts our hearts!
The way he will stretch up your legs to get loved on and literally wedge his head is priceless 🥹

Sadly as purrfect as we think Link is we have a few obstacles in the way of easily finding him a home. People often hesitate to adopt a senior kitty and the other snag is the fact he's a bit of a bully to other cats.

We are looking for a home that doesn't have any other cats....for the most part if his feline victims aren't in his face then he is fine but he does not hesitate to thump, thwack or chase them down.

Link is ridiculously sweet and wants love from humans so badly but he just can't leave the streets behind. He's stuck on fight or flight (he chooses fight...always) from his previous days of having to live on the streets and try to survive.
Link came to us with a horrible leg injury and so he has a limp but this does not in any way affect his ability to torment the other cats at Frankie's. We think he's around 11 and we just want him to find a nice loving home to live out the rest of his 7 lives (he's used at least a few of his 9)

He's truly an amazing kitty with humans and loves getting loved on but it's not easy finding someone who will see our post and have a cat free home...so if you could share his story it would really help! There is NO adoption fee and any future vet care will be done at Frankie's and covered by us. We truly just want him to have the loving home he so despurrately deserves!

Not only could you be the proud owner/servant/snuggle buddy... of Link but you'll be saving the sanity of the cats he feels the need to fight.

We aren't Lion 🦁 when we say he's an absolute sweetheart to his humans at Frankie's. It's virtually impossible not to love Link...he's a keeper!

Please email us at [email protected] if you are interested 🫶

You ever look through your photos and find ones you forgot about?

It was spring of 2024 and we still had our beloved senior Papi. He was super old and lived at Frankie's. One day shortly before we had to say goodbye to him someone put flowers at his window.
One simple random act of kindness truly does make a difference 🌼🤍 🧡🪽

We have good news and sad news....

The sad news...Link is still waiting for his forever home.
Details in previous posts 🥺

The good news? We have found an amazing home for 2Cent our diabetic kitty!!!!
He's not left yet as we need to make sure his levels are where we need them but his dad met him and even with 2Cent being a scaredy cat he still is so happy to welcome him home and we know 2Cent will learn to trust him In no time! 2Cent and lot of other cats in our care are getting meds in Churus and we are in our last of them. We took in even more cats last week so supplies are going crazy fast! If you would like to donate Churus we would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you so much for your support! You truly are so appreciated!!!

🐾 HELP US ASK HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP TO RECONSIDER ITS STRAY-CAT ORDINANCE

Hempfield Township recently adopted Ordinance No. 2026-06, which regulates stray cats and may impose substantial responsibilities and penalties on residents who regularly feed, shelter, or care for them.

Penalizing compassionate residents will not solve the underlying problem. Hempfield needs a humane, practical, evidence-informed community-cat management program centered on trapping, sterilization, vaccination, and return—not policies that may discourage residents from helping animals in need.

Dr. Morrow previously provided Hempfield Township with information about the benefits of TNR in 2020. In 2026, she again offered assistance, including access to mobile surgical services for spay/neuter initially by email and then at the last Township meeting. We want the Township to seriously consider this assistance and work collaboratively toward an effective solution.

📧 PLEASE CONTACT THE FOUR SUPERVISORS WHO VOTED FOR THE ORDINANCE

Copy and paste these addresses into the “To” line of your email:

Subject: Please reconsider Ordinance No. 2026-06

Dear Chairman Weimer, Vice Chairman Bretz, Supervisor Anderson, and Supervisor Durbin:

I respectfully ask the Hempfield Township Board of Supervisors to reconsider Ordinance No. 2026-06 and place its repeal or amendment on a public meeting agenda.
Penalizing residents who feed or shelter community cats does not address the source of the problem and may discourage the very people who could help the Township implement an effective solution. Please work with qualified community-cat and veterinary professionals to develop a humane program based on trapping, sterilization, vaccination, return, responsible colony management, and public education.

Dr. Becky Morrow has offered community-cat expertise and practical assistance to Hempfield. I urge the Township to meet with her and other qualified stakeholders before enforcing or expanding this ordinance.

Thank you for your consideration.

Please personalize your message if you can. A few sentences explaining why this matters to you can make it much more effective.

We also thank Supervisor George Reese for opposing the ordinance.

Please share this post so Hempfield residents and other concerned community members can make their voices heard—respectfully, factually, and constructively.

Happy Sunday ☀️ OR if you take ME home then EVERY day can be SONday 🫶

Incase you missed it...I'm a senior kitty looking for a home. My name is Link...Purrhaps I'm your missing Link? Get it? 🫣
Not only am I a handsome ginger but I have purrsonality 🧡 for dayssssss

It's been determined I'm about 11 years old and I came here in really bad shape. I walk a little wonky because I had a major leg injury( we can provide details but just know that you should have seen what the other guy looked like)
You can take a cat off the streets...

My hobbies are napping, snacking, begging for pets and love from humans as well as chasing all the other work cats and tormenting them. My bum leg isn't stopping me from bullying whatsoever.
What can I say...I have big orange energy.

Frankie's is waiving my adoption fee and will provide vet care as needed here. I just can't play nice with other cats. Soooo where my peeps at?I

If you want to watch Netflix and chill with me please email my work fam at

[email protected]

I mean just look at my face 🥺

We can even watch Shrek 💚 together and I'll be your very own Puss in Boots!

One day at Frankie's an employee couldn't find any S hooks to hang up a bag of fluids. She ended up using a glove and a door....because we gonna get it done one way or another 😂. She then went home and raided her house for hooks and found 2. The plan was to paint them pink and make them into earthworms 🪱 (because that seemed way more cute) so we would never forget the struggle 😉. But that girl can't paint soooo our beloved employee Ambre made her dreams come true and painted them. So the moral of this story is that

"Different paths can lead to the exact same goal, as long as the core result gets achieved"

And it's the little things in life that can truly make someone's day 🪱🥰❤️
