Thoughtfully designed and equipped for individual, small organizations, local
residents, and visiting businesses, The Corner is the place to do business and grow your community. The Corner falls within the Keystone Innovation Zone, meaning entrepreneurs and qualifying companies can benefit from game-changing Pennsylvania tax credits up to $100,000 annually. To be eligible, a company must meet the following requirements:
1. Be a for-profit business entity located within the geographic boundaries of a designated KIZ (The Corner and its affiliated coworking sites throughout the Pittsburgh region fit the bill.
2. Demonstrate that your business has been in operation for less than eight (8) years.
3. Operate within one (or more) of the targeted industry sectors identified by the KIZ and its regional partnership.
4. Provide semi-annual reporting measures to the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) through it KIZForce reporting tool.
5. Meet any other requirements as specified by DCED. Along with the partnership and opportunities available to companies located within KIZs, this innovative program also contains a tradability component.
