What a weekend for the New Ken Jets! 🚀

For the first time in our program's history, we had FOUR different age levels of Jets competing on the dek in the same tournament weekend. Seeing our players, coaches, and families representing New Kensington with pride was truly special.

Less than a year ago, this journey began with our original Chipmunk team. To see how much our program has grown in such a short time is incredible, and we couldn't be more proud of every player who wore the Jets jersey this weekend.

Thank you to our coaches, volunteers, and families for helping build something special. The future is bright, and we're just getting started!

​Hi everyone! Due to several coaches and board members attending a Jets tournament this weekend, our games for TODAY Saturday, 5/30 are being moved to our weekday practice slots:

​🐧 Penguins: Tuesday, 6/2 @ 5:45 PM
🐿️ Chipmunks: Thursday, 6/4 @ 5:45 PM

Ready to get the kids out of the house and onto the dek? Registration is officially open for our 2026 Ball Hockey Summer Camps at Memorial Park in New Ken!

We’ve tailored our sessions to ensure every player...from those just starting out to those ready for more competition...has a blast while building their skills.

📅 Choose Your Session:
Ages 4–7: June 15th – 19th
Ages 8–12: June 29th – July 3rd

Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday – Friday)

✨ What’s in Store?
-Skills on the Dek: Accuracy challenges, passing relays, stickhandling, and defense battles.
-Guest Coaching: Instruction and appearances by New Ken Jets NBHL staff and players!
-Summer Adventures: We’re breaking up the hockey with nature walks, dodgeball, kickball, and yoga/mindfulness.
-Friday Finale: Every week wraps up with a high-energy Championship and Skills Competition!

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the amazing moms of Memorial Park Ball Hockey Club and the New Ken Jets! 💐🏒

Thank you for every early morning, every ride to the rink, every washed jersey, every snack packed, and every cheer from the stands. Your support, dedication, and love are what keep our players going both on and off the dek.

Today we celebrate all of the hockey moms, grandmothers, stepmoms, and mother figures who help make our hockey family so special. We appreciate everything you do for our players, teams, and community.
