Congratulations Evan on earning the highest rank of Scouting.....Eagle Scout! You have worked long and hard to achieve this accomplishment. You have conquered many hurdles to get to this point all while creating memories to last a lifetime. Learn from your time in Scouting and take these learnings with you as you progress through life. We could not be more proud of you as you become the first Eagle of Troop 501 chartered by Chieftain Archery Club. Once an Eagle always an Eagle!

Scouts BSA Troop 501 based out of Allegheny Township is selling live wreaths for the Christmas season. These wreaths are 20" live Noble Fir pine with berries, juniper, and pine cones. Each wreath comes with a homemade bow for you to attach where you would like. Cost is $20.00 per wreath. We will be selling wreaths for immediate pick up at the Allegheny Township Light the Season celebration on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at the Blair Farm located directly across the road from the Giant Eagle plaza (look for our signs). We are also taking orders for an additional shipment that will be available Friday, December 6, 2019. These are great for placing at the cemetery for loved ones, decorating your home or gifting to family and friends. Please stop to see us or contact us if interested in purchasing.

Come join your family, friends, and neighbors in Allegheny Township to kick off the festive season!!!

Some of the highlights include Santa's arrival on a fire truck at 630pm to light the "tree", a musical band, Boy Scouts selling wreaths, raffle baskets, cookies, family-friendly drinks and more!!!

The festivities will go on for about 2 to 2.5 hours. Put it on you calendar now (there's an app for that) and we will see you there!!!
