Today was a really spectacular day...

Officer Mason and his dad are officially a team!!!! These two have worked so hard over the passed year.

They are having a week of vacation before he reports for his first day as a facility therapy dog and community resource for this great town.

We are so proud 👏 and have no doubt they are going to make an incredible impact on all ages!

This popped up in memory today... still the why... still the mission

The why....

If you ever wondered what the Coldsprings Healing Paws Foundation is about, the why.....this is the why. After a decade of breeding and donating Labradors to become service dogs I had my son. At 18months he was diagnosed with epilepsy. At 4yrs old his seizures were out of control, so I quit my job stayed home and trained a service dog for him. For the past 10 years she has been his alert, his best friend and has allowed me to not helicopter mom. Photos of some if his journey ...Sprocket by his side the whole time. Service dogs change lives, give independence to those whom might not have it otherwise. This is the why....we live it and we will gift it to as many as possible.

This is why we are a whole team of volunteers. The why our board of directors is exceptional. This is why we believe so strongly in the mission. This is why we train constantly, why we tailor the job to the person.
