At Holy Family Cemetery, we believe that every person deserves a dignified and reverent final resting place, regardless of financial circumstances.

Project Lazarus is our charitable burial initiative dedicated to ensuring that no one is denied permanent interment due to hardship. Through this program, cremated remains entrusted to our care are respectfully placed within a communal ossuary located in sacred ground.

We invite funeral homes, businesses, organizations, and community members to partner with us in this important work of mercy.

Holy Family Cemetery is pleased to announce that our new indoor cremation niches have arrived and are now available for purchase.

Located within the beauty, comfort, and protection of our mausoleum, these niches provide a permanent and dignified place of remembrance for your loved ones. Indoor niches offer families a secure, climate-protected memorial space that can be visited year-round regardless of weather conditions.

Today members of the Imperial Calcasieu Delegation of the Military and Hospitaller Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem presented Deacon LeBlanc with a $2,200 donation towards the building of an ossuary to help provide charitable cremation burials at Holy Family Cemetery. New sidewalks are being poured in the tomb section. We are beginning on the end where the rows are the shortest and working back towards Curtis Lane. This project will be done in stages as funds permit.
