Today, the Berry Queens of New Iberia had the honor of serving our community by helping Iberia Parish high school young ladies and young men get ready for prom…completely free of charge!

Because of the generosity of our amazing community, students were able to shop from a beautiful selection of:
👗 Prom dresses
🤵 Suits & tuxes
👠 Shoes for both young ladies and gentlemen
💐 Corsages & boutonnieres
💎 Jewelry & accessories

Every single item was donated…by local businesses and caring individuals who wanted to make a difference.

To everyone who donated: THANK YOU.

To everyone who came out to shop: We hope you found something you loved.

Our hope is that each student walked away feeling confident, celebrated, and excited for a magical prom night.

This event is about more than just clothes. It’s about easing financial burdens for families and adding a little extra sparkle to such a special milestone.

This marks our 9th year hosting Beauties & Beauxs, and we are so proud to continue this meaningful community project.

Here’s to unforgettable memories, big smiles, and a beautiful prom season ahead!

Your very own Berry Queens were featured on the Keep Louisiana Beautiful page announcing the annual Love The Boot event. We participated last year and we’re doing it again this year! Be on the lookout for your favorite big wigged community service ladies out on the streets of New Iberia! We’re about to make it sparkle and shine!

Sign up for Louisiana's largest litter removal and beautification event happening in all 64 parishes from April 18-26. This year, we are cleaning up our communities in celebration of America's 250th birthday!

To our friends and supporters of The Berry Queens of New Iberia,

Thank you—truly and deeply—to the people of New Iberia who show up with their time, talent, and treasure to make our mission possible. Because of you, classrooms have been transformed into beautiful, inspiring learning spaces across our parish. Because of you, children and teachers across Iberia Parish are reminded that they matter. Because of you, opportunities become reality—through initiatives like the Doyle Copell Entrepreneurial Scholarship, which allows seniors who want to start a business to have seed money to fulfill their dreams, and because of you, we provided Westgate students the chance to go to Disney World for the first time while attending the Educators Rising Conference. It is our hope that all of these experiences expand dreams and change futures.

We are incredibly blessed to live in Iberia Parish, a community where people give of themselves generously and joyfully—where neighbors go out of their way to support nonprofits and live out the call to “do unto others” as Christ intended. That spirit of service is alive and well here, and it is reflected in every act of kindness you extend.

Today we held our first Sponsor's Breakfast, which may have been a small gathering, but it carried a big purpose: to say thank you. Thank you to the people who make our organization possible. Thank you to those who believe in giving back, lifting others up, and investing in the next generation. That kind of generosity is not only meaningful—it’s worth celebrating.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being the reason we can continue this work. We are better because of you. Our mission couldn't exist without you.
