Spaying and neutering saves lives by helping reduce pet overpopulation and preventing unwanted litters. The work we do is only possible because of generous donations. Every contribution helps provide affordable spay and neuter services and makes a lasting difference for animals in our community.

The Stuller Family Foundation gave us a wonderful surprise today.

In the midst of the hardships we’ve been navigating since a car crashed into our building, The Stuller Family Foundation extended a compassionate and steady hand to help us keep going. They understand the value of our team, the urgency of our work, and the truth we see every single day: spay/neuter is the backbone of Acadiana’s fight against pet overpopulation.

As shown in the photo of our Medical Director, Dr. Randi Adams, and her loyal sidekick Louie standing proudly in front of our mobile unit, our medical and office teams are sending their heartfelt gratitude for this support that keeps us moving forward.

Their belief in our mission showed up in the most extraordinary way — with a $10,000 donation to help us push through this difficult chapter and continue serving the animals and families who rely on us.

To the Stuller Family Foundation: thank you for standing with us once again, for recognizing the importance of this work, and for helping ensure that progress doesn’t stop just because we’ve hit an unexpected obstacle. Your generosity strengthens our entire community.

🌪️🐾 HURRICANE SEASON IS HERE. IS YOUR PET READY?

When a storm is approaching, the last thing you want is to scramble for supplies or important documents. Taking a few simple steps now can help keep your furry family members safe if severe weather strikes.

✅ Make sure your pet has a collar with current ID tags.

✅ Keep microchip information up to date.

✅ Store at least 7 days of food, water, and medications.

✅ Have a crate or carrier ready for every pet.

✅ Keep vaccination records and recent photos in a waterproof container.

✅ Know where you'll go if evacuation becomes necessary.

Most importantly: Never leave pets behind during a hurricane or evacuation. If it's not safe for you, it's not safe for them.

A little preparation today can make a world of difference tomorrow. Take time this week to build your pet emergency kit and create a family disaster plan that includes every member of the household, including those with paws. 🐶🐱
