This workshop will explore real-life choices and challenges high school students face, including faith, boundaries, consent, peer pressure and personal responsibility, all through a Muslim lens.

It will be a safe and engaging space for students to learn, ask questions, and have meaningful conversations. 💙

📚 Muslim South Asia: al-Hind, Hindustan & Beyond
A Ten-Week Course at ICNA Nassau

This course explores the history of Muslim South Asia from the 700s to the creation of modern India, Pakistan & Bangladesh — not just as a story of wars and conquests, but through the traders, Sufi mystics, scholars, and rulers who shaped daily life, poetry, and tradition across a thousand years. We'll also dive into colonial rule, the response to lost power, and how 1947 reshaped the subcontinent.

ICNA Nassau’s Family BBQ is back — and this month, our Monthly Family Event is coming to the park with us! 🌳🔥

Join us Sunday, August 30th from 12–5 PM at Valley Stream State Park for an afternoon of games, prizes, food, an Islamic talk, and family fun.

This month, families will take part in a hands-on Geolocation Game while learning about Islam as a global faith and reflecting on Gratitude Through Allaah’s Names.

Join ICNA Council for Social Justice for **Civic Engagement 101**, an educational community session focused on understanding government, representation, and community power.

This event will help community members learn why civic engagement matters, how local, county, and state government work, and practical ways to get involved through voting, public meetings, contacting officials, volunteering, advisory boards, internships, government jobs, and public service.
