Armstrong Cooper Youth Hockey Association ACYHA is dedicated to providing area youth with the opportunity to play and learn the game of hockey.

With an emphasis on building character and a love for the game, we develop playing skills, hockey knowledge, and promote enjoyment and fun for families. The Armstrong Cooper Youth Hockey Association serves the cities Golden Valley, Robbinsdale, New Hope, Crystal, and Plymouth in Minnesota. Skaters who go to school or live in D281 play hockey for us.

Recognize anybody? These guys are going on the wall.

2008-09 Robbinsdale Cooper High School Activities & Athletics
Robbinsdale Cooper High School Hawks Hockey.

We've got the names of these Hawks , but can anybody identify all five?

Have you yet seen the Robbinsdale High School Hockey mural by the North Rink Concession Stand?

That was the first phase. Now, the “Our Neighborhoods. Our Hockey. Rink Mural Project” is closing in on its goal of completing Phase II of the project, and we need your help.

For decades, hockey in District 281 has been built in our neighborhoods, in our rinks, and through the people who came through them.

We’ve started putting that history on the wall at New Hope Ice Arena. Now we’re working to finish it. Help us complete the Armstrong and Cooper Boys Hockey chapters and tell the full story—past to present.

At New Hope, ACYHA is building a permanent story of community hockey—and crowdsourcing to invite people to be part of it.

$2, $5, $10….every small contribution helps.
