Happy first weekend in October. Fall is a great time to enjoy the towpath. Why not join one of upcoming towpath walks. You get some exercise while learning about the history of the canal and the surrounding area.

We have three walks scheduled on consecutive Saturdays in October (10, 17, 24.) All walks start at 9:00 AM. Register on our website here.

It almost the weekend and the Friends' Headquarters will be open both Saturday and Sunday. So stop by and learn some canal history and tour the Locktender's House. Hope to see you there.
