A few weeks ago, our NHCLC JROTC Afterschool Club hosted a military appreciation breakfast to coincide with the month of the military child in April and military appreciation month in May. By combining these two events, we honored the families in our school with active-duty family members. 👏
We are so proud of the hard work and dedication the students put into this event. They are truly blossoming as leaders not only in our program, but in their school. As members of this club for most of the school year, they have consistently demonstrated their commitment serving their school and community, growing beyond their level of comfort with public speaking, and hosting various events.
A huge thank you to Erica Pohl, JROTC Club Leader, and Dawn Lasater, NHCLC Site Director, for being fabulous role models and leaders for these children. And lastly, absolutely none of this would be possible without the dedication and sacrifice of our brave men and women serving in the armed forces, and their families who support them. Thank you!
