It was wonderful to see everyone yesterday for our Lemonade Social: Tea Dance & Pool Party 🍋

Guests enjoyed ice-cold lemonade with their donations, along with lemon-inspired cocktails, music, and swimming. Even a brief sprinkle of rain couldn’t dampen the fun 🌈

Event proceeds will benefit Fisherman's Mark, helping residents in need throughout Lambertville and Hunterdon and Bucks counties. With New Hope Celebrates matching the proceeds raised, we are proud to make a total donation of $1,000 to support this important organization 💖

For those new to the sport, Pride Polo with Gay Polo League on September 12 at Tinicum Park Polo Club is an opportunity to discover a tradition that dates back more than 2,000 years 🌟

Once known as the “Game of Kings,” polo began as a way to train cavalry and is now played in more than 75 countries 👑

During a match, two teams of four players race across the field on horseback, driving the ball toward the opposing goal while following rules designed to protect both players and horses 🐎

Much of the action revolves around the “line of the ball,” an imaginary path that determines which player has the right of way 🤔

Spectators will see speed, strategy, precision, and teamwork unfold just feet from the sidelines and gain a new appreciation for these athletes and horses 👏

That afternoon was filled with smiles and community coming together for a great cause. Now, we’re getting ready to make some new memories at this year’s Tea Dance & Pool Party 🏖️

Join New Hope Celebrates on Sunday, August 23 from 4:00–7:00 PM at the New Hope Inn and Suites Pool for an afternoon of music, swimming, refreshing cocktails, and plenty of fun 🍹

A $10 donation is suggested at the door, with all proceeds benefiting Fisherman's Mark and the essential services they provide to neighbors throughout our community 💖

Every Color Tells a Story: Yellow 💛

For Jordan Mauger, joy is found in the people who show up for one another 🫂

As a longtime New Hope community member, husband, and father of two, Jordan has experienced firsthand the power of chosen family. His family has been surrounded by friends, neighbors, allies, “guncles,” and “launts” who have embraced his children and helped make New Hope feel like home 🏘️

That feeling is especially powerful during the New Hope Pride Parade, when Jordan gets to watch his children light up as familiar faces pass by and an entire community comes together to celebrate alongside them 🥰

This August, Yellow represents joy, celebration, and chosen family... the light, laughter, and love we create when we show up for one another ☀️
