New Hope Arts and Crafts Festival is proud to present: Abra Couture.

Abra's jewelry is all about making modern statement pieces from recycled material. She finds all of her components in flea markets, or creates them in her studio from leftover resins, plastics, paper and cotton. She utilizes hand built wire sculptural forms and makes the most amazing jewelry wearables.

New Hope Arts and Crafts Festival is proud to present: EUGENIA PORELLO.

An Argentine native, EUGENIA PORELLO has been nurturing her artistic passion since early childhood. What started as a hobby encouraged by family and friends, turned into a way of life, if not a career. Eugenia foretold her love for metalsmithing to her mom as a child, sneaking into the town jeweler's shop. 40 years later, this long dream became a reality. Resin art is a more recent expressive channel in the self-taught artist's eclectic drive. Through any means, Eugenia continues to nurture her passion for art. PORELLARTE loosely translates into 'for the love of art' both in her native Spanish and Italian ancestry. Recently, Eugenia and her life-long friend, Jeanette Paredes, opened a brick and mortar Por el Arte Artisan Boutique and Makerspace at the Mill Race Village in Mt Holly, where they offer a myriad of art workshops, open studio and art therapeutic experiences for all ages.

New Hope Arts and Crafts Festival is proud to present: The Woven Word

Kelly is an interior architect by day and a paper weaver by night. Her career began in design and architecture, working for global design firms and she continues to bring that sensibility and structure into her artistic practice.

With a lifelong love of collage and paper, Kelly turned to weaving during the pandemic as both creative outlet and stress relief amid political and social upheaval. Her pieces—hand-cut and woven from handmade paper sourced from a women’s co-op in Nepal—are an engaging way to preserve history. Portraits often form the warp, while the weft consists of words, that give deeper context to the subject.
