Hello HopeBridge clients, this is an end of year update from the HopeBridge Food Shelf staff.

First, we would like to thank everyone for adjusting to the changes alongside us. In the last year, we moved from an outdoor drive-up model to an indoor appointment-based model. Internally, we switched to a new database, road construction was an obstacle, but you have been with us every step. Adjusting to change is never easy, but through determination, learning, and a lot of grace, we have made it here together. HopeBridge staff feel we are in a great spot operationally but will continue to look for opportunities to improve our shopping experience.

HopeBridge will be closed the following dates:
November 23 (Thanksgiving)
December 19, 21, 26, 28 (the last 2 weeks of December)
Jan 2, (in observation of New Year’s Day) Jan 16, (in observation of MLK Day)

A gentle reminder, if you have a scheduled appointment and know you will be late or are no longer able to come, please call the Food shelf at 763-536-3284. Leave a message if no one answers, or email us at [email protected]
We often have other clients requesting appointments when we are fully booked. If you let us know you won’t be able to make it, we can pass that appointment time on to another client who is in need. Great job to those who already do this; we appreciate the communication.

Update on road closures around HopeBridge Food Shelf: The intersection of Boone and 42nd Avenues will be closed beginning July 7 and is expected to remain closed until July 26. For more information and detour maps, head to newhopemn.gov/cms/One.aspx?portalId=9826709&pageId=19489180.

Due to the MnDOT bridge and ramp closures at Highway 169, most traffic on 42nd Avenue will be routed to other connections. Good news! HopeBridge Food Shelf will be transitioning to an appointment-based system beginning March 6th. Clients will receive instructions on how to make an appointment by email or on their next visit. We'll be happy to show you how!
