East Rock Tango

East Rock Tango East Rock Tango is a community which promotes the social form of the Argentine tango using weekly dance events in New Haven, including FREE lessons.

Our weekly classes emphasize the traditional form of the Argentine tango, as it is danced in Buenos Aires, Montevideo, and around the world. The concepts you will learn from us will allow you to connect with different dance partners through the music. Core fundamentals, including simple walking steps, will be taught, NOT "fancy figures and steps".
