One of the most meaningful ways to support New HYTEs during The Great Give 2026 is by sponsoring a student for a full year and helping provide access to our programs. Through tutoring, tennis and fitness, and individualized mentoring, New HYTEs creates opportunities that help students grow both on and off the court.

During The Great Give on May 6 and 7, you can contribute through our Sponsor a Student program, make a donation of any amount, or support us through our Amazon wish list. Thanks to the New HYTEs Board of Directors, the first $17,000 donated will be matched dollar for dollar, doubling your impact. And, Jeff Bricker and Kat Kayser-Bricker will match the first $6000 donated toward sponsorships, so your gift of a sponsorship will be tripled today.

We’re so grateful for your support! 💚

Pitch Night was a huge success! 🚀

Our students brought creativity, confidence, and big ideas to the room, sharing their projects through interactive displays and conversations with guests throughout the evening. We could not be prouder of everything they accomplished. Thank you to everyone who came out to support, encourage, and celebrate the amazing work of New HYTEs youth.

Help us keep our entrepreneurship program growing by supporting New HYTEs during The Great Give, a 36-hour online giving event running from May 6–7 that raises funds and awareness for nonprofits across Greater New Haven. Every donation helps us continue creating opportunities for local youth to learn, lead, and innovate. The link to donate is in our bio. 💙

Big news from New HYTEs! 🎾

After a successful capital campaign, we’re thrilled to share that the West Haven Planning & Zoning Commission has unanimously approved the New HYTEs Student Enrichment & Tennis Center. Construction is set to begin in 2026 on our permanent home on Derby Avenue near the Yale tennis courts.

The 3,920 sq. ft. facility will include classrooms, gathering spaces, offices, a courtyard overlooking an outdoor tennis court, and sustainable solar panels—creating a space where students can learn, grow, and build their futures.

Thank you to our incredible community for making this milestone possible. With your support, we look forward to impacting even more youth in the years ahead. The best is yet to come! 💙

Meet our incredible volunteer, Amy Metrick, who has been tutoring with New HYTEs for 7 years and inspiring students every week! As Amy shared, “At both my high school (Hopkins) and now at Yale, I co-created and co-led outreach clubs to help recruit more volunteers and tutors for the program,” continuing a family tradition of supporting New HYTEs and giving back to New Haven students.
