We’ve been having the best time at our Climate Education Book Club meetings this summer! For our two most recent meetings, we discussed NOT TOO LATE BY Rebecca Solnit and Thelma Young Lutunatabua and What Are People For? by Wendell Berry. These meetings are super fun and relaxed, but we never fail to dive into thoughtful and enriching topics. Stay tuned for the announcement of our September get-together, and bring friends for chill conversations, crafts, and of course, food!📚🌱

Today, NHCM members led a workshop on environmental leadership, sustainability practices, and climate action at the New Haven Parks Outdoor Explorations Summer Camp for their Summer of Sustainability session! We had a great time engaging with the campers, hearing about their personal experiences, and doing fun activities like climate bingo and ocean-themed jewelry making. Thank you so much to the staff and counselors at New Haven Parks for having us! 🌎🍃
