The New Haven Pride Center offers a variety of programs and services for the LGBTQ+ community.

🌈 The New Haven Pride Center is excited to invite you to join us for a free health and wellness event this Pride Month!

This special event will bring together volunteers and community partners from Anchor Health, Neighborhood Health Project (the annual co-sponsor of New Haven Pride's Health & Wellness Village), the New Haven PAUSE Project, Pressure Check, the Yale Alumni Service Corps, and the Center to provide health resources, wellness supplies, and opportunities to connect with organizations dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of our community.

Available resources may include:
• Socks and shoes
• Hygiene supplies
• Toothbrushes and soap
• Condoms and safer-sex supplies
• Narcan and overdose prevention resources
• Fentanyl test strips
• Health education materials
• Information about local health and social services

All are welcome. No registration is required. 🥰 Pride is about community! Join us as we celebrate health, wellness, connection, and care for all!

You’re invited to join us for the New Haven Pride Flag Raising tomorrow! 🏳️‍🌈 This event is a chance to gather in joy, stand in solidarity, and honor the strength and diversity of LGBTQ+ voices across our city.

We’re proud to celebrate alongside incredible community organizations including Anchor Health, APNH, and New Haven Black Pride, with support from the City of New Haven. 🫶 Come connect with local LGBTQ+ leaders, advocates, and safe spaces that are helping uplift and support our community every day!

Happy Pride Month! We hosted a hope-filled celebration at NHPC this morning with speakers including Representative DeLauro, Governor Lamont, Lieutenant Governor Bysiewicz, Treasurer Russell, Mayor Elicker, Alders Tanbee Smith and Kim, and a remarkable slate of community leaders — including Karen Dubois Walton from the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven and Dara Kovel from Beacon Communities. Thank you to everyone who shared their support for the Center today, and to all those who were there in spirit! With the energy from today in our sails, we head into Pride month ready to bring this organization into a new era!! We are working diligently to hire an interim executive director, build out a revitalized board of directors, put together an actionable development plan, and stabilize the organization so that we can open to the public as soon as possible. We’re here, New Haven, and we’re q***r, and we aren’t going anywhere!

Last night we celebrated the culmination of The Great Give: we raised $120,000 in just 36 hours with the support of nearly 150 donors! New Haven, we did it! 😭 We far surpassed our initial goal of $30,000, and drove home a supremely important message to ourselves and the communities we serve:

We're here! 🏳️‍🌈 We're q***r! 🏳️‍🌈 And we're not going anywhere!

This is an incredibly exciting moment for the Pride Center, and for q***r life in New Haven more generally. 💝 We are deeply grateful for your support, and endlessly motivated by your faith in the power of community.
