PRU - Puerto Rican Festival of New Haven The Puerto Rican Festival is a regional celebration of culture & community held the second Saturday of August. Puerto Ricans United. Inc.

(PRU) was created because of the growing demand from Puerto Ricans living in New Haven area to relaunch a Puerto Rican Festival in the city. Many recall the days when Areyto Inc., the New Haven Puerto Rican Day Parade, and Loiza Festival were all signs that summer was here! Our mission & objective is to promote, preserve, and celebrate the Puerto Rican culture, while actively engaging in community

service. We accomplish this by countless volunteer hours, charitable contributions, and year-round cultural events such as the "Festival Puertorriqueño de New Haven".
