🎄❤️ SOMETHING NEW FOR HARTFORD LENDING HANDS, INC. THIS CHRISTMAS! ❤️🎄

For the first time ever, Hartford Lending Hands, Inc. is expanding our Christmas Help Program to include something very special.

We are introducing our 2026 Christmas Blessing Nomination for:

🎁 Senior Citizens — Age 65+
🎁 Adults with Disabilities — Age 18+

And we aren't simply looking for someone because they are older or because they have a disability.

❤️ WE ARE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO MATTER.

The person who is always there for everybody else.

The person who gives even when they don't have much.

The person who has been through difficult times but continues to show up.

The person who makes other people feel loved, supported, encouraged, or cared for.

The person who may never ask for anything for themselves.

The person you look at and think, “It's their turn now.”

This year, we will select:

🎄 1 Senior Citizen Female — 65+
🎄 1 Senior Citizen Male — 65+
🎄 1 Adult Female with a Disability — 18+
🎄 1 Adult Male with a Disability — 18+

💌 BUT THERE'S A CATCH...

You cannot nominate someone just because they meet the age or disability requirement.

We want REAL PEOPLE. REAL STORIES. REAL IMPACT.

You will need to tell us about the person you're nominating, their circumstances, why they are in need, what makes them special, what they have overcome, how they impact others, and most importantly...

WHY YOU BELIEVE IT'S THEIR TURN TO BE BLESSED. ❤️

This is also not an opportunity for fake nominations or made-up stories. We want genuine nominations from people who truly know and care about the individual they are nominating.

We want to hear their story in your words.

🎁 Maybe it's someone who spends their life caring for everyone else.

❤️🎄 HARTFORD LENDING HANDS, INC. NEEDS VOLUNTEERS! 🎃🍂

We are getting ready for our 2026 Christmas Help Program and our upcoming Fall Fun Day, and we need volunteers to help us make both programs a success!

Our programs continue to grow, and we are looking for reliable volunteers who are willing to donate their time and help Hartford Lending Hands, Inc. serve our community.

🎄 CHRISTMAS HELP PROGRAM

We are looking for at least 2 volunteers who are available to help on Saturdays beginning in November.

Volunteers will assist with:

📄 Sorting applications
✉️ Sorting letters
📋 Organizing applications and program materials
🎁 Helping with Christmas Help Program preparation

We are specifically looking for people who can commit to Saturday volunteer shifts and be dependable.

🎃 FALL FUN DAY

We will also need volunteers for our upcoming Fall Fun Day in October!

Volunteer opportunities will include:

🍬 Sorting candy
🎁 Sorting prizes
🏆 Contest judges
🎃 Decorating and event setup
🧹 Decorating/event takedown
🎯 Hosting and running individual games
❤️ General event assistance

Official event dates, volunteer dates, and schedules will be posted soon.

These are VOLUNTEER POSITIONS ONLY.

All volunteer opportunities will be in New Haven at our office and/or designated event location.

✅ Are willing and able to travel to New Haven
✅ Have the availability needed for the position
✅ Are dependable and willing to commit to your scheduled volunteer time

We understand that everyone has their own schedules and responsibilities, so please make sure you have the availability and transportation before applying.

We need volunteers who can commit and show up when they say they will.
