About “Bike The Vote” murals

The third community mural on the Farmington Canal Greenway in New Haven and Hamden, “Bike the Vote” is a celebration of civic engagement and voter participation.

Painted on a formerly blighted and frequently defaced façade, it is located just half a block south of Goodrich Street (or can be seen by car at Gem St.), is part of a burgeoning “arts corridor” on the Farmington Canal Greenway. The project involved five Girl Scout troops and added to by a diverse collection of Greenway cyclists, walkers and runners.

Come paint on our next Greenway mural! Humans of all ages and abilities are welcomed to participate!
