We benefit from many partnerships, including with the women of Kappa Alpha Theta Headquarters & chapters around Connecticut--including the Sacred Heart University's chapter, whose Chelsea Perez organized a drive for hygiene supplies for this movement for children & youth. (10 bags of supplies from Target)

Kappa Alpha Theta chapters at Sacred Heart University, Quinnipiac University, University of Connecticut and Yale University as well as Theta alumnae all help raise awareness and funds for our cause.
Thanks to all of our partners and volunteers--including Chelsea & her sorority!

We recently welcomed a new colleague to our Connecticut CASA team of professional staff, supporting the caring, consistent volunteer Advocates for children:
Koleyatu Sheriff, MSW, who brings experience as a mental health clinician, among other roles!

She grew up in New Haven, attended Connecticut College as a New Haven Promise Scholar, and earned her MSW from Boston College. (Koleyatu, at left, is pictured with Senior Program Coordinator Susana Herrera and Program Director Vallerie Dontes.)
