Eastern CT CRAFT (Collaborative Regional Alliance for Farmer Training) is proud to present a farmer training at Tiny Acre Farm on June 15 that will cover cut flower production.

Attendance is open to all farm workers, serious volunteers, managers, owner/operators in CT and beyond as well as family members. Eastern CT CRAFT is able to pay farmworkers $50 per person for participating for the entirety of the meeting. They will distribute stipends until they exhaust the allotted funds so it is not guaranteed for every meeting. Stipends are NOT limited to farmworkers in CT – they welcome farmworkers from other states to join! https://ctnofa.org/happening/eastern-ct-craft-farm-tour-and-training-tiny-acre-farm-woodstock-ct/

Last chance for NOFA members to take advantage of this season's bulk order discount. Fedco Seeds discount window expires at the end of this month!

The Bulk Order, in its previous format, is no longer taking place. The legacy of the Bulk Order continues – not as a one-time order event, but as an ongoing member benefit that supports growers, and grows over time as we add more vendors and wholesale-level access. For 2026, we are…

We’re happy to announce the return of our Soil Health - 3 Ways course! We’re offering two sessions: one in July and one in September.

This course covers the three main properties of soil – physical, chemical, and biological – in the lead-up to an in-person, practical application class. These 4-class courses are intended for both commercial farmers and home gardeners to help them work with nature to produce healthy plants and nutrient-dense food. And thanks to funding through the Transition to Organic Partnership Program, these course are FREE.

Northeast farmers - the New Entry Sustainable Farming Project wants to hear from you about farmland access! Please take this QUICK, 5-minute land access survey.

https://tufts.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3BFOi9IfQO88orY

New Entry Sustainable Farming Project and partner farm service providers are exploring shared-use farmland models across New England (e.g., cooperatives, co-farming arrangements, shared farm sites, community farms, agrarian commons). This pilot aims to expand equitable land access, reduce costs, and strengthen farmer communities in the region. We would like to understand how farmers are thinking about shared land opportunities.

Your input will directly shape program design, technical assistance resources, and pilot shared farmland opportunities.

Please provide your thoughts no later than Wednesday, May 27th. Please share with fellow farmers!
