Sportsometry Sportsometry provides a research-based academic and athletic after-school program to local schools. Each phase is focused around a different sport, e.g.

Sportsometry ® provides lesson plan materials for three five-session phases. volleyball, tennis, basketball, or Frisbee, and the lessons become progressively more challenging. Each lesson contains a fifteen minute visualization, thirty minutes of math and science instruction, and thirty minutes of athletics. The visualization, academic section, and athletic section are all interrelated, which stre

ngthens students’ understanding of both the sport being played and the math or science concept being studied. Typically, Sportsometry ® runs as an after school program one, two, or three times per week, utilizing schools’ physical education facilities. Should a school or program see a better fit during the day, Sportsometry ® can adjust to this preference. Sportsometry ® is currently taught by our staff in client schools; however, teacher certification is available so that schools have access to our program and materials after an initial training program is complete. Certification allows schools to continue to utilize Sportsometry’s ® lesson plans and program design, with support and evaluation from us.
