Recently, we had the honor to be with community & join Yalik’s African American Art & Cultural Movement (YAAACM). They are a High Point, NC-based nonprofit dedicated to preserving and uplifting local Black history. They are best known for creating the city’s first African American Heritage Trail, offering guided bus tours and educational experiences that highlight the Black experience in the area. We were delighted to be on this tour with Melody Burnett, President of visit High Point & also pictured is our current President, teen advisor and our founder Chase Clark. Learning more about the spaces that we occupy is key. As a member of the community it is essential to support & maintain the integrity of our history. **Chase Clark is the recipient of the 2021 City of High Point Human Relations Humanitarian Award. Our stories matter!!! 🖤

Graduation season is here—and this one hits different 🎓✨

We’re beyond proud to celebrate our founder, Chase Clark, who is graduating with honors from Wake Forest University, earning a double major in Communications and African American Studies.

But what makes this moment even more powerful? She started Chase’s Chance in the second grade.

What began as a young girl’s vision to help others has grown into an organization that continues to uplift students and support communities—every single year since.

While pursuing her degree, Chase stayed rooted in that same purpose. Because behind every graduation is more than a cap and gown—there are real costs, real challenges, and real next steps. From study materials to licensing exams, the journey doesn’t end at commencement.

Recently, we had the honor of sponsoring study books for a doctoral student preparing for his licensing exam—because success shouldn’t stop at the final hurdle.

This is who we are. This is what we do.

To the Class of 2026: we see you, we celebrate you, and we’re rooting for everything ahead. Your journey is just getting started.
