Today is VOCA's National Day of Action, and we're asking our community to help protect services for victims and survivors. The Crime Victims Fund supports critical programs, including domestic violence services, advocacy, counseling, shelter, and legal assistance. Without Congressional action, funding cuts will continue to impact victim service organizations across Connecticut and the country.

Contact Connecticut's senators today and urge them to support the bipartisan Crime Victims Fund Stabilization Act (H.R. 909).

Senator Richard Blumenthal

๐Ÿ“ž (860) 258-6940

Senator Chris Murphy
๐Ÿ“ง [email protected]
๐Ÿ“ž (860) 549-8463

Here's a starting point:

"I urge you to support the Crime Victims Fund Stabilization Act (H.R. 909). Victim service organizations rely on this funding to provide critical support for survivors. Please help ensure these essential services remain available to those who need them most."

It only takes a few minutes to make your voice heard. Every survivor deserves access to support. ๐Ÿ’œ

We were honored to have U.S. Representative Jim Himes join us for a regional roundtable on domestic violence. The Congressman, CCADV CEO Meghan Scanlon, and leaders from our 5 member organizations within Connecticutโ€™s 4th Congressional District joined together to discuss prominent federal issues impacting local domestic services. Funding cuts, proposed rules, and other federal policy decisions threaten the work of domestic violence prevention nationwide. We are grateful for the support of all our legislators who advocate for us in D.C.

Thank you to YWCA Greenwich, The Center for Family Justice, Inc., The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services, The Center For Empowerment And Education and DVCC!
