Our mission is to to ignite and inspire a mindset for learning by investing in the well-being of children. LEARN Resource Center targets lower income families with elementary age children.
LEARN Resource Center offers Before School LEARN and LEARN After-school programs for elementary children in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. Programs are held at New Haven Primary, New Haven Intermediate, Heritage Elementary and St. Louis Academy.
Summer LEARN is our full-time program for children ages 4 (entering Kindergarten) - 12. During the morning hours, children engage in a variety of fun and educational activities in the areas of math, language arts and science. Afternoons are full of enrichment activities, guest speakers, and recreational fun.
LEARN also serves as a Child and Adult Food Care Program sponsor through the Indiana Department of Education which allows the organization to provide a free snack each day after-school. LEARN is also a sponsor for the Summer Food Service Program and provides free breakfasts and lunches for children age 1-18 at 3 area locations during summer break.
