The Emergency is TONIGHT‼️

On April 22, 2026, at 7AM, we gather in community, urgency, and care as the warming shelters close for the year while the need for safety, shelter, and dignity does not.

Join U-ACT:
📍 242 Dixwell Ave (Varick Church)
🕖 7:00 AM – Breakfast + Meet Up as the warming center closes
🚶🏾‍♀️ 8:00 AM – Solidarity Walk to City Hall
📣 9:00 AM – Rally
🫂 Followed by Supply Drive + Mutual Aid Stations

We need your support.

Houselessness is not distant.

Our houseless neighbors deserve more than survival. They deserve safety. They deserve dignity. They deserve to exist without being harassed, displaced, criminalized, or stripped of what little they have.

Connecticut and New Haven must decriminalize houselessness.
That means no more sweeps‼️No more stolen belongings‼️
No more punishing people for being abandoned by broken systems‼️
We need real solutions rooted in housing, care, accountability, and community.

Pull up.
Pick up supplies.
Bring supplies.
Bring your voice.
Bring your people.

Bring your commitment to a city where nobody is left outside without care.

Hey, community! We are excited to announce a new food drop featuring:

- Vegetable broth
- Pasta
- Rice
- Oatmeal

- And much more!

We encourage everyone to come by and take what you need. Let’s support each other during these times!

However, we kindly ask that you **do NOT vandalize the property** and please **clean up after yourselves.** We won’t be able to continue providing this service if we can’t keep our space clean and safe for everyone.
